For this project, I wanted to make a deserted and old rundown hotel room with peeling paint and plaster so overall just falling apart. I had a lot of fun making this hotel room and how I could explore making things look old, and how broken and destroyed I could make the rest of the room based on my reference. The inspiration for the room helped me explore different ways to model assets and how to fully use small details and decals to their full potential. I modeled it in Autodesk Maya and created materials in Substance painter to put it together again in Unreal Engine 4.
